Simply Smashing Blanket Pattern

Simply Smashing is a fun and addictive pattern to knit.  I loved this lace pattern when I used it to make a sweater for one of my children and felt it would make a cozy baby or lap blanket.  Change the yarn & needles to suit your tastes, but of course, size will vary.  Blanket pictured is the medium size.

Finished Measurements: 27”x29” (32”x42”, 37”x50”). (68cm x 74cm, 81cm x 107cm, 94cm x 127cm)

Yarn:   3 (5, 7) skeins Whimsical Colors Merino Bliss Sport (274yds/100g per skein).

Gauge: 16 sts x 40 sts = 5.25” x 5.25” (13cm x 13cm) in lace pattern. While gauge is flexible, yarn usage will vary.

Needles: US 6 (4.0mm) or size needed to match gauge.
